Guiding you through every season of your professional journey with compassionate, reflective, and self-led supervision.

Clinical Supervision for Counsellors & Therapists Grounded in IFS

Welcome to Supervision with Christine Cunningham

As a counsellor and supervisor trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I believe the journey of a helper is also seasonal—marked by transitions, growth, identity shifts, and deep inner work. My supervision offering is grounded in the same values and therapeutic philosophy as my counselling practice: empowered compassion, authenticity, humour, and a deep reverence for the Self and internal parts.

I offer compassionate, IFS-based clinical supervision for counsellors, social service workers, social workers, psychotherapists, and mental health practitioners who want to deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their use of parts work, and cultivate a more sustainable, Self-led practice. Supervision session rate is $160 per hour.

This Supervision is Ideal For

  • Counsellors, therapists, social workers/social service workers, and mental health practitioners who are curious about or already using Internal Family Systems (IFS) in their clinical work

  • Practitioners who are either IFS informed, trained or curious

  • Clinicians navigating their own professional transitions: new to private practice, shifting areas of focus, or scaling their work

  • Helpers experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or fragmentation within their work or self-concept

  • Supervisors or clinicians wanting to deepen their self-awareness, parts work, and relational capacity

  • Therapists who want a supervision space that values both professional skill building and personal authenticity

What to Expect in Supervision

1. An IFS-Informed Lens
We explore the parts of you (therapist-parts, protective parts) that are activated in your professional life. This strengthens your Self-leadership so you can provide clinical care from a grounded, compassionate place.

2. Compassionate Self-Reflection
We hold a safe, non-judgmental space for you to bring challenges — clinical cases, boundary questions, ethical dilemmas, or inner tension — and reflect on how your own internal system interacts with your work.

3. Seasonal Awareness of Your Professional Journey
Just as womanhood unfolds in seasons, so does a counselling career. We’ll map out where you are: planting, growing, harvest, rest. We’ll work with transitions, losses, new beginnings, and identity shifts in your professional path.

4. Skill-Building + Clinical Growth
We’ll focus on case conceptualization, IFS application, self-of-therapist work, and integrating spiritual or parts-based perspectives into real-world therapy. You’ll gain tools and frameworks to support your clients more deeply, while also caring for your own inner system.

5. Capacity Building & Self-Care
We address self-care not as an afterthought, but as a core part of your professional integrity. Part of our work will involve strengthening the parts of you that need rest, boundary, nourishment, and creative renewal.
